My daughter had an orchestra concert last night at Pacific Middle School in Vancouver. Before the 8th grade class played a young man was given the mic and he announced that he was working on becoming an Eagle Scout and one of the merit badges was to do a project for a non profit. He built some cello stands for the orchestra and presented them to the director last night.
I didn't catch his name but Huzzah to him! :yes:
In a world of video games, fast food dinner and texting it was nice to see someone aspiring to be an Eagle Scout.
