It'll do the job but that type is noisy as heck. I prefer the stealthy Honda super quiet in the garage with a transfer switch.

Great deal for the money. Yes, the Honda S2000 is actually my favorite - Syn Wave also, can connect PC, etc, but half the wattage and twice the price.

If nothing else, buy it and store it away. May be worth its weight in gold someday.
