I like the DSA Uppers that are on sale, however you will need to add in the cost of a charging handle and a BCG. For about the same money you can pick up a very high quality complete LMT upper from weaponsparts.com for $525 (includes a BCG & charging handle). I have one that I mounted on my LMT lower; it is a better quality upper than either the DSA or DPMS.

It's a little more than I want to spend. I'm trying to build a complete rifle around $600

Some people hate rguns.net but I have never had a problem.

    Here is their cheapest one...

DPMS A3 16" Low Pro Upper
    With Bolt and Charging Handle
    NOW IN STOCK
    $350.00

    http://rguns.net/rifles/rifles-semiauto-ar15-uppers-556-16Inch.shtml
scroll about 3/4 of the way down the page. This one is a complete upper with a bcg and charge handle.

    hope this helps, nate

I have dealt with rguns.net in the past, no regrets. However, DS Arms are nice.
