I have had this for some time. It has seen under 100 hours total use. It is an amazing scope rivaling any 3rd gen out there. It has a small built in IR illuminator that is for close quarters pitch black viewing. The lens is 25mm which is 1:1 in on this unit. There are many lenses available for this that are amazing in quality yet low in price. One of them is below. You could mount this and get a lens with reticle for a weapon site.

For sure it can, just need the correct mount. I think there is an adapter for the pvs-7 head gear. I also think that there is a FLIR goggle head mount that works also. I'm sure it's a standard 1/4-20 screw that works.
