You're lucky to have have Velzey local to you.
Hopefully your FSB is virgin and not a take-off (for best results).

Velzey can take a used fsb and indicate the holes in one at a time. Drill the barrel and ream by hand. When all done you can't tell it was a used block

Sweet, I haven't purchased the gas block yet, but it will be a piston gas block from a Superlative Arms and it will be installed on a new barrel.

This is NOT a do it yourself operation. Almost anyone can drill and pin a gas block or dimple a barrel for a set screw, but taking a used FSB and re-pinning it to a different barrel takes a pro with the proper tools and know-how. It is one of two things I'll not consider doing myself to an AR, a least at this point.
