Half in jest, but:

John Marzluff, a wildlife scientist at the University of Washington in Seattle also not involved with this research, said the differentiation of groups of humans by their clothes is a new one among birds.

"It's the first time I've heard of this," he said, noting however that there are some "anecdotal observations" of birds "keying in on what people hold, like a gun versus a broom."

Hmmm...
I usually just wear some old jeans and a earth tone flannel or I have some "hunting pants"....
Made of Carhartt type material...two tone...tan with a dark brown double layer from the thigh down....again with a earth tone flannel.

Every once in awhile I will wear my buckskin outfit....which is fun....:D

I find Geese can see far better then most other fowl, and they are very smart about things that don't quite look right!
Even some ducks seem to be pretty good at picking out hunters that are/were otherwise well camouflaged
