get the wilde chamber so you can use 223 and 5.56 ammo.

well i reload so whatever my hunting requires.
I would like to be able to shoot 50 to 70 grain bullets. And also need to decide what to go with the 20" or 24". this will be my desert rifle for varmints from sage rat to coyote. And also does anyone know what single shot block to get?

1-7 works for heavy (from 55 up to 75 grain) while 1-9 works from 50-62 grain

So if i went with a RRA eop varmint upper with a 1-8 twist and a 24" barrel i would be good for 50 to 70?

And a 1-12 would be good for 50 and under correct?

i dont know, i wouldn't stray from 1-7, 1-9, and maybe 1-8 due to resale value.

Well they have 1-8 twist for all thier uppers atleast the ones i want and 1-8 or 1-12 in the 24" model.

what bullets weights would work with a 20 or 24 inch 1-8 twist?

And Rock Rivers arms are good correct, All the review's i could find on them and DPMS varmint uppers were great with sub moa and good long range results too.

I want a varmint upper,A2 stock and panther pistolgrip. Should be one sexy lady after im done.

i hear that a 24 inch barrel offered no tighter groupings at 400 yards over a 20 inch barrel. is it worth paying the extra?

i think both DPMS and RRA make good varmint uppers.
