Every entrance and possible exit point has some form of weapon, different sized edge weapons depending on what type of opening.

From what I remember, always use the next level up from the attacker in order to end the fight quickly.

Escalation of Force for an organization doesn't necessarily apply to civilians.

"I feared for my life and the lives of my family" are all that needs to be said in a court of law.
