Evidently didn't look for his comments on the gay black racist ex-newsman who murdered two whiteys with a glock did you?
He said "Don't blame the gun." Effectively went on to say he supports the second amendment and all law abiding gun owners.
If you're going to vomit bullschitt at least read the news first.

Wow, Donald, how noble of you.. I guess I better put my vote in for you and leave all my reservations aside.. Wasn't it George Bush Sr., whose famouse lines before he got elected were, "Read My Lips, No New Taxes!" I remember it was the butt of all jokes during and after his presidential terms when in fact he supported several tax increases during his term in office.

Oh yeah, while on the subject of George Bush Sr. The guy supported the assault weapon ban and many gun control measures. I wonder if George Bush Sr. was running for president today what his take on gun control would be. I bet he would championing the Republican 2nd Amendment cause, just as the previously pro-gun control/pro-illegal labor candidate Donald Trump. Of course, now he is vigilantly pro-gun/pro-2A and wants to build a giant mega wall to keep all the illegals out.

Another interesting report on Trump utilizing the same illegal immigrant labor to build his hotels as he claims he will eliminate in the country.

Sorry, that I am not buying into him and all his hardball player talk, shame on me. He's a great businessman and personality, I will hand him that..

The fact he and the Clinton family have been friends for a long time doesn't seem to alarm anyone either. GO figure. A New York shark is making big promises and everyone is suppose to be awestruck. The fact he has no political track record is also not a benefit with such a big talker. I would have liked to see how he actually handled some time in office and if he delivered or just makes big promises. Heard enough of those before.

My support goes for other candidates like Ted Cruz. I would take an honorable individual like Allen West, and several other candidates than Donald Trump any day. Rick Santorum looks like another good potential candidate, although it looks like he may be bumped out of the race. I also feel Bobby Jindal is another totally overlooked candidate who has a lot of potential and has a track record as governor of Louisiana, which is no easy state to manage by any means. He as well has vowed to fight illegal immigration, defend 2A rights and fight tax increases.

Can the slickster, Mr. Trump, boast this on his resume, as Governor Bobby Jindal can:
As a private citizen, Jindal voted in 2002 for the Louisiana constitutional amendment known as the Stelly Plan[126] which lowered some sales taxes in exchange for higher income taxes. Since taking office, Jindal has cut taxes a total of six times, including the largest income tax cut in Louisiana's history – a cut of $1.1 billion over five years, along with accelerating the elimination of the tax on business investments.[127] In January 2013, Jindal stated he wants to eliminate all Louisiana corporate and personal income taxes, without giving details for his proposal.[128]

Jindal has stated his support of the Second Amendment's right to bear arms. He has opposed efforts to restrict gun rights and has received an endorsement from the National Rifle Association.[122] Jindal earned an A rating from Gun Owners of America while he was in Congress.[123]

As a Congressman, he sponsored the Disaster Recovery Personal Protection Act of 2006 with Senator Vitter.

Jindal's one flaw on the gun control issue, which would make me question him entirely is his support for background check expansion. Despite Rick Perry, challenging him on the gun background check issue , which I am against, Rick Perry supports "anchor babies" and illegal immigration. I feel the latter issue is worse and has made me lose support for Perry. I'm not sure how deep Jindal wuold be on the background check issue, I would need more investigation there. The NRA and GOA does endorse him and he has a very pro gun track record in perhaps one of the most challenging states to govern in the country.

Jindal would have my vote over Trump any day.. I just wish he could get more media publicity. The media seems to be in love with Mr. Trump, which is not a good thing by any means.

I am not sure if anyone can find any flaws in him, but as of now I feel Ted Cruz meets all my requirements for the best candidate, until I can find some flaw. Every politician will have one, some much worse than others.

As for Ted Cruz, here is some history from his tenture as a Senator;
Cruz is a gun-rights supporter.[129] On March 25, 2013, an announcement was made by Cruz and U.S. Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee threatening to filibuster any legislation that would entail gun control, such as the Manchin-Toomey Amendment, which would require additional background checks on sales at gun shows.[130] On April 17, 2013, Cruz voted against the Manchin-Toomey Amendment.[131] Republicans successfully filibustered the amendment by a vote of 54–46, as 60 votes were needed for cloture.[132]

In April 2015, Cruz stated "what I have been pressing is the Armed Services Committee" to hold hearings on whether service members should be allowed to carry concealed firearms on military bases.[133] He believes that service members should be better equipped to protect themselves from incidents like the Navy Yard and Fort Hood mass shootings.[133] He further added, "I think it's very important to have a public discussion about why we're denying our soldiers the ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights".[133]

Why does the Republican party always get stuck with such dismal choices when there are so many decent candidates never get the spotlight?

In 2000, " The America we Deserve" is where he calls for them and if he changes his mind he can just as easily change it back.

You jumped all over 4Freedom pointing out he could change his mind but now you seem okay with it, so which is it? At the very least he is wishy-washy on gun control. I'd rather choose who has a proven track record of 2nd ammendment support, not someone who's swayed.
Wrong.
I jumped all over him for not telling the complete story, sort of like you did in your post.
Let us know when you find a politician that has never changed their mind.

Dude you're putting way to much thought into an internet post.
I do not endorse Trump and I'd probably go for Cruz but his religious beliefs seem a little to the right of the Pope.

Trump is saying the things many Americans want to hear. However his track record is sketchy. He seems very self absorbed and I fear that if some country challenges him as president his ego will get in the way. I dont like the same old "blah-blah" that most politicals spout, trying to appeal while remaining non-commital. So for Trump I give him an A+ on this. I see Trump as the guy with a temper that can get in his way. America's way also.

I left the GOP on the second Wednesday in 12/2008 (and made several purchases :D...) because of McCain, but I always vote for the most conservative candidate.

If politics were an integer line, Obama is a negative 10,000,000,000,000........ McCain a (-) 50,000,000, and Romney was a (-) 50,000,000.

President Eisenhower was (+) 99,000,000,000.......

Here's how I see some of the current field (in no particular order), on their level of conservatism; aka a genuine respect for the American citizens, the US Constitution, & the Rule of Law.

Sanders and Bush: (-) 1,000,000,000
Clinton: (-) 99,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,...........
Trump: (+) 5,000
Cruz, Carson, Huckabe, & Jindal: (+) 5,000,000,000
Florina (+) 1,000,000,000
Graham (-) 5
Christy (-) 5,000,000
Kasich: (-) 5

To bad Bo Gritz (platform: Guns, Guts, and Gold) just got too old. I voted and donated money to him in 92 after Bush Sr. lied to us. I knew him from Nam and Ruby Ridge.

One of the reasons you see Trump drives the establishment crazy is he is blowing out all the political consultants that are used to making huge salaries advising want-to-be candidates, and Trump is self funded so not tied to after election commitments.

You want to "fundamentally" change this country, Trump would do it, and it would be the quintessential "bubblegum Slap" to Obama.

JMHO of course

I really do hope Trump changes this country, don't get me wrong.. However, he is a big talker but doesn't have a lot of experience to back up his big and bold statements. Considering, Trump's history and his close relationships and friendships with many of the die-hard liberal families we despise, such as the Clintons, my eyebrows are raised at the slick and tough-talking businessman.

I agree that Ted Cruz bringing religious can get in the way of his GOP nomination.. I'm hoping he would keep religion out of the race. I feel Ted Cruz is much more genuine of a candidate and will actually carry out his promises and has a track record in office to prove it, unlike Trump. Yeah, his Christian beliefs may be disconcerting for some.. Trump's history and previous friendship with the Clinton is more worrisome to me.

A lot of predictions and strong opinions here. Just think, 6 months from now this process will be upside down, and we'll still have a year to wait before the election. lol

I hope things do change for the better because I give Trump or any of the other Republicans vs Hillary only an equal 50/50 at winning the White House. If Trump goes Independent he will split the vote and Hillary will win big time:(
If Biden wins the Primary vs Trump. Biden wins IMO.
Biden vs Fiorina or any one but Bush, and Trump out of the race? Biden loses.

Biden vs Bush. Bush loses.

If the Progressives/ Democrats win, the Country loses a few more gun rights anyway.

Hillary has been really outspoken and given speeches that are anti 2ndA. So has Biden.

Socialist Bernie Sanders (another spoiler!) is relatively pro-gun btw but don't think he's gonna last.

Unfortunately we have our own anti-gun politicians here locally that need to be removed!
My predictions for Oregon at the moment are pretty grim.

Trump won't pull the independent vote over to the GOP side. He is too radical. Even I can't stand his pompous self. I have a hard time understanding how he is the front runner in the GOP race. But then I would have bet you a bundle that Obama would never beat Ms Clinton in the last primary. So what do I know? Apparently nothing.

Seriously though. Business makes strange bedfellows, or is that politics?
Either way that pic will be hard to overcome I'm thinking.

I don't know if anyone has heard the expression "Talk is Cheap". Donald is a very big talker.. Too bad his life has been almost the anti-thesis of his new renovated benevolence.

He also is somewhat belligerent and thick-headed. This is not going to do him well during election time.

Personally, I think Ted Cruz promotes all the same ideas as Trump, but does so in a much more intelligent manner and actually can make people on both sides of the spectrum sympathetic to the cause. Trump just alienates and sticks his tongue out at the enemies.

Ted Cruz sticks it to them where it hurts. However, since Cruz is a much more intelligent debater, has a nice long track record to back up his statements and can make the liberals look stupid in most debates, he has a much better chance of surviving the long haul, where as Trump will explode and be a giant hole in the ground. Cruz is a great debater and pretty fearless against opposition. He supports a majority of the same exact measures and beliefs that Trump does, without being labelled the enemy of mankind. Nobody looks to Trump and can say, what a noble and respectful character. But many people can respect Ted Cruz's character which will make a difference during the presidential campaign. Even most people cannot respect Clinton's character anymore, which is why she may be ousted. Everyone knows she is a lying, conniving witch, even her own people.

The media rejoices having an outspoken entertainer personality like Trump to focus on, but fears a real and genuine candidate like Ted Cruz who actually can shake up the beliefs of both the moderates and liberals. Cruz is actually more bold than Trump and engages liberals in direct debates using rational discourse and logic and generally makes fools of them in debates, debunking the stupidity and fallacies of their beliefs. Trump just goes for the blunt force attacks that just makes people angry, rather than actually in-depth discussions. Not that many liberals think, but even a small number of turncoats can help the GOP in the election.

Cruz, IMO, actually has the power to win over even some Democrats and many more Moderates through his demeanor and discourse; Trump will just terrify everyone who isn't already a believer.

The loss of moderates is what help Obama win the last election. It was insane, but I was amazed at how many Libertarians and Republicans voted for Obama and claimed he was a rational-minded, pro-gun president until after the 2012 election. After his second term, people suddenly woke up and realized there was something funky in the kool-aid after all.

Hopefully, the moderates have stopped drinking the liberal kool-aid and realize the Democrats have not become their buddies and now the GOP has some real candidates, not Red-painted liberals.

And in reality what is wrong with that? A man so far right of the pope that he would follow Christ's teaching in his personal life and allow the golden rule to manifest in his decision making process...how terrible...what a thing to fear!

After all, being to the left of Satan has worked so well, for so long. Perhaps we should just ease towards the right thing so as not to upset the masses.

CNN said Tuesday it is amending the criteria for candidates to qualify for its Republican presidential debate later this month, possibly clearing the way for contender Carly Fiorina to be part of the main-stage debate.:s0018: Watch out TRUMP! She's pretty good at that debate stuff!

Trump playing golf and smiling with our most famous gun grabbing politicians.

Trump sure has a strange choice in friends.. Washington insiders? o_O

Let's see... Trump lives in NY; develops, owns and operates goff courses (where many business deals take place); has to play politics with all sides so as get approvals for his numerous developments; which moves his company forward and benefits his many employees by providing paychecks; as well as benefiting the many cities and states he operates in via his tax bill.

And so here he is pictured with other New Yorkers including former NY mayors on one of his goff courses.

And somehow you are trying to make a political point against Trump with this pic?
