I can understand why this may cause people concern, however we are confident that we are not looking for anyone else at this stage… Local officers and specialist detectives are at the scene and will remain there for many hours to come.
We could have filed this story under This Is What Happens to a Disarmed Populace. But the point is the same: whether they're facing a crazed killer or a determined terrorist or some combination thereof, a disarmed people are defenseless against barbaric attack.
Even in a police state, there aren't enough police to protect the populace. And if the police are the problem . . . there is no solution, save armed self-defense

Palmira Silva, a widow and grandmother described as "such a sweet lady" by one neighbour, was killed outside her home in Edmonton in a random but frenzied assault by a 25-year-old.
Witnesses said they saw the man, wielding a foot-long blade, attack a passing vehicle and a cat before roaming back gardens looking for a victim.
One line of inquiry for detectives is understood to be that the man was inspired by recent footage of terrorists beheading two American journalists in Syria.
Some residents claimed last night that the suspect was a local man who had converted to Islam last year, but those claims could not be verified. Detectives said they had ruled out terrorism.

I'm sick of this P.C. crap, what are they insinuating by not letting the public know the race/religion of a subject in certain crimes? Are they afraid of angry mobs? All they are creating is a pressure cooker situation with all this special treatment of select populations IMHO.

Pretty sure you have your own knife and gun to defend yourself against this kind of terrorism. I think I would be more worried about the.... golfer we have running the show getting us into a war with Putin.

Pretty well sums it up. When economies turn down those in power find external enemies to draw people's attention away from the problems at home (GO USA GO USA GO USA...). Personally, I would like to see us just pull the **** out of the Middle East and let Insane Team Sunni and Insane Team Shia hack each other up. Time to move forward with new energy technologies anyway. (Yes, I know it won't happen yet. Too much entrenched power and money relies on the current paradigm for its existence.)
