We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Looking at the specs it would seem that the Ultra Carry could be the base gun for the Pro Aegis II 9mm that Wifey has, or the other way around. The bushingless bull barrel on her gun looks to have enough thickness to it that it could be bored out to .45 and still be plenty thick. We were quite happy with accuracy from rest at 50'. We did have a bit of temporary issue with fte at first, limp wristing may have been the prob. Since break-in there's been no problem. She shoots hand loads, 124gr MG hps.
One other thing, if the "Match Grade" barrel is the same on the .45 as the 9mm I needed to load specialy for the Kimber by seating bullets slightly deeper as the riflings were closer to the chamber than in the other 9s.
I also have a Kimber Stainless II with near 1000 rounds, no issues.
