I was fly fishing on the Deschutes many years ago and decided to take a walk at night outside of my hotel. I was walking down a gravel road and saw a buck with a couple of does that were eating apples that had fallen on the ground. I got within about 50 yards of them and the buck started doing the stiff leg walk towards me. When he lowered his head and started shaking his antlers at me I got the heck out of there.

That cat had balls (or was stupid.... or both) --- bugging an animal THAT many times larger than you.... wow!
Poor dog.
I would of killed the thing, (or attempted to) if it attacked my dog. Not stand around yelling like a moron while my dog gets pummeled.
The dog wasn't even bothering the deers, it wasn't even paying attention.. the doe just got freaked and hurt the poor dog for no reason.
