DoD is trying to shut down Defense Distributed, designer of 3D printed firearms

    Looks like the feds are trying to strongarm Defense Distributed, the group that has been distributing CAD designs for printed magazines, receivers, and recently a complete pistol.

    If you own a 3D printer then you more than likely own or use 3D design software, so you can design anything you need. No need to download someone elses files.

    it wouldnt be the first time he has claimed to be shut down my the DoD. if he had committed a crime, he would be in jail. the DoD cannot ask for information to be censored by private organizations/companies except on TV and radio.

    its just another publicity stunt and they really are starting to get attention from the wrong people because of it.
