Here's another trick of Doctor Dementia to test your skills...

Can you meet this challenge?

We've seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first time we've seen it with numbers. Good example of a Brain Study: If you can read this OUT LOUD you have a strong mind. And better than that: Alzheimer's is a long long, way down the road before it ever gets anywhere near you.

To my 'selected' strange-minded friends: If you can read the following paragraph, forward it on to your friends with 'yes' in the subject line. Only great minds can read this. This is weird, but interesting!

If you can raed this, you have a sgtrane mnid, too.

Can you raed this? Olny 55 people out of 100 can.

I cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is that the frsit and last ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can still raed it whotuit a pboerlm. This is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? Yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt! If you can raed this forwrad it.

The human mind can perform amazing feats. It can rectify, through years of discipline, what is deliberately disorganized. The rest of you can go see a doctor and prepare for dementia.

To you, I wish the best, but I wouldn't bank on a long happy future.

Dementia? Alzheimer's? What's the problem? It'd be like getting new guns everyday! /jk

-Yes it is a joke, having personal experience with a loved one with Alzheimer's, sometimes that's all one can do...have a laugh, move on, and hope that science might catch up sooner rather than later and defeat this.

Heck - I thought that this was a thread about Doctor Demento!

Some of you may remember the Dr. Demento show on the radio on Saturday nights. I don't remember which PDX station it was on. It was mid 1970's.

Used to get stoned, play poker & listen to Dr D!

Ahhh....the good ol' days!
