Need is such a subjective word. It depends on who you are trying to convince. If it's your wife, YES, you need one. If it's just yourself and us, YES, you need one....if that makes you feel better, anyway.
For the most part, we really don't "need" any new ones, but we sure do want them a whole lot...

A 22-250 with a can is fun when you call in the dogs and its much quieter than a 223/556 AR with a can.
