Discount Guns?

I stopped by the local gun shop just to look around and the first thing I noticed was the dramatic increase in their prices. Heres a few examples:

Gen 4 Glocks $799

Gen 3 Glocks $729

Aimpoint Comp M4 $1199

PMC 9mm 115gr $25.99

The guy behind the counter said people don't even care how much things cost...:huh:



BTW dont get any ideas. Glocks sold here still go for $500

The big discount at discount guns is that they are so overpriced you will leave without purchasing anything.

Holy crap. Yesterday my local store had a shelf full of gen 3 glocks for $450 apiece. I just recently picked up a well used, but good condition one for $350. I can't imagine anyone knowledgeable would ever pay $729 for a stock glock. Hell, even with the panic buying, I just saw half a dozen Mini-14 ranch rifles on the shelf for that exact price.

Discount Guns CAN BE way over priced. They can also be fair priced from time to time. They have a broad selection. The time I have been in Beaverton Discount Guns, I noticed there were not staffed by moonlighting mall ninjas. One can do worse than Discount Guns in my experience.
