Did Washington finally switch to wallet friendly CPL cards?

I wrapped my WA CPL in clear packing tape after folding it in half. It was a little too large for my tri-fold wallet and the tape allows it to flex a little so it fits just fine and all the information is still visible. An actual laminated credit card sized CPL would be nice though. I've got another year before renewal so hopefully they figure it out by then.

Got mine from the local PD very recently, still a big sheet of white paper with partially blue patterned background:




I guess this is still old?

I just got mine in August and it looks just like this^^^^

Yeah the Lake Stevens new cpl fits in a credit card slot in my wallet perfect it would be cool if it had your photo on it like a dl. When I was at discount guns in everett last monday buying a mp45 I showed the cpl and the guy behind the counter was shocked it fit in a credit card slot

That is what I want. I called Clark county and they are still issuing the old ones. Hopefully they get the news, I'l gladly make the trip North to get one.

I found a copy of the new design on Gray Peterson's blog, and it looks totally different. As I suspected, the pictures on this thread are clearly the old design.

Mine came in the mail today from Bellingham PD. Folded and laminated at Kinkos with a slight trim of the plastic the same size as a credit card. It came in 13 days.

I tried calling Clark County, but of course they are not answering their phones.

Most if not all agencies will laminate them for 1 extra buck

Buddy of mine just got one in Bellevue. It was the old style.

My Clark Co permit is still the old style as well, and yeah I folded it and laminated it at FedEx/Kinkos. Not quite credit card sized yet, won't fit in the credit card slots of my wallet but it fits in the space where I keep my cash. Was hoping for a newer style permit so I could keep it with my OR CHL!

I trimmed mine with scissors after it was laminated and it is credit card size.
