Devcon bedding

I need to bed a stock and would like to use Devcon plastic steel putty. Does anyone know where I can pick some up localy in the Portland area?

I would look up a marine supply place in the phone book. You could also check your larger hardware stores ie. Home Depot, Ace Hardware. If you can't locate any, Marine-Tex works equally well for bedding work.

Thanks for the point in the right direction. I tried a neighborhood Ace with no luck. This weekend I will look where you suggested.

I also suggest Marine-Tex. Its a bit easier to work with, its easier to find, and it works as well as Devcon...

I agree with the other two posters that Marine-Tex(or a two part marine epoxy at TAP Plastics) works equally as well and is much easier to work with.

Other than the 5 minute, two part epoxy, that is all I use for bedding, stock repair and filling.

Just make sure to buy some dye and release agent!
