My favorite ride is to detroit lake done it hundreds of times, so many memories with my riding buddy now deceased, incredibly sad to see it gone.

Resilient town - moved in 1952 when the Detroit dam was built, destroyed in 2020. Hopefully they'll be able to rebuild again. Lots of fond memories driving through Detroit (we'd always stop for ice cream) when going to Bend from Salem as a kid.

We played them in 8 man football back in 1981been going there for more than 50 years and my dad before me and his dad before him maybe in the other place and yes we all have good memories and they didn't burn and neither did there strength and resileance or determination I'm sure it will take time but Detroit will rise again that is what we do we get knocked down but we get back up fighting for what we love my thoughts and prayers to all who are affected by these fires.
