Anti-gunners unveil measure to repeal 'junk lawsuit' protection law

Four pro-gun control Democrats yesterday announced legislation aimed at removing protections for firearms manufacturers and dealers from junk lawsuits, claiming that the 2005 "Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act" (PLCAA) made gun companies "immune from lawsuits."

Since Hitlery started spouting months ago that she will personally repeal the PLCAA if elected, this has become the lie/issue de jour for all the good line toeing dems. If it wasn't for attacking peoples freedoms, they wouldn't have anything to do and wouldn't know what to do with themselves.

I'd be up for repealing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act on one condition:

If the plaintiff in any lawsuit loses, they pay the legal bills for the defendants. If the plaintiff can't pay, the lawyer for the plaintiff pays. In the case of politicians bringing the lawsuit, it comes out of their personal salary. I think that is a fair trade.

So GM should be sued for selling Corvettes and Camaros to the general public as they are capable of going well over 100 miles an hour which is illegal everywhere. All cars should be required to have the GPS system programed to limit the vehicles speed to the speed limit where they are traveling. "Common Sense speed control saves lives."
See how well that goes over with the general public.
