So you're telling me the dems who want to protect everyone from gun violence are threatening gun violence agains law abiding people who don't hurt anyone instead of going after criminals who cause virtually all the gun violence.
Seriously WTF is wrong with these people?
I already have the hole dug, start lining them up single file please!
I think the Antifa/Anti-Trump riots in Portland kicked it off. When there were no repercussions the leftist were green lit to do as they please. Maura Healy, Ma. attorney general, single handedly redefined their state law over night. Nothing happened. Oregon courts tell us religious leaders are exempt from gun laws. Nothing happened. When there is finally some push back guess who will get the blame.
Even they have some standards. They may eat garbage, but they know this guy is just toxic.@Boboclown don't y'all have some wild hogs that need feeding up there?
Given he only said he was joking after backlash, its easy to see he was backpedaling if anything.not funny and probably only half-joking, if that
if someone on the pro-gun said something like that in a joking manner can you imagine the backlash?
What I find amazing is folks ( even one or two here) believe this clown wasn't making a threat at all! It's pretty telling that there are people that hear and see this and denied what took place. I could understand if he hadn' said "OK" and left it at that, or didn't shrug before "OK" then i could see it wasn't a threat, but come on, THAT was an out right in the open, loud and clear THREAT!!! Sending that shows plain Stupidity and Ignorence, (sic) and gullibility! Wake the eff Up, this kind of speach (sic) cannot be allowed EVER!
Seriously dude, why are you even here?
There will be no judicial review, not in a "For Profit" legal corporation called the Justice System! And this dude is a part of the protected class, so nothing will happen any way!
Back to your regularly scheduled programming!

I kind of think that there are a lot more people in his county who have guns and want to keep them than there are sheriff deputies, and if this guy gets elected it is likely that a bunch of the deputies they do have will resign rather than go up against that many armed and angry citizens. And will kill you if you refuse to turn in your gun.
It Begins. Democrat Candidate for Sheriff Suggests Killing People to Take Their Guns
Someone should video the fat boy doing the Michael Jackson moonwalk....Even they have some standards. They may eat garbage, but they know this guy is just toxic.

So take that as you will, the context supports it being a bad joke or him just backpedaling.
Outstanding, my thoughts exactly!
Sometimes when people make a joke, its something they really think. May not be so with the sheriff candidate, but its in poor taste for anyone running for any office to say such a thing. Especially when said office is a law enforcement one.True: it's obvious that he meant it as a joke and that the audience interpreted it as such. I don't believe that either he or his supporters are advocating the use of deadly force to implement confiscation.
But the fact that both he and the crowd thought it funny rather than horrific betrays an attitudinal slide from decency, to humor, and perhaps ultimately to serious contemplation. Now, I doubt that such a draconian policy will be proposed during his first term, or even during his possible longer tenure. However, even if no one in the room _seriously_ savored such a course of action now, their mirth reveals a widening crack in the left's pretended support of the constitution and the rule of law.
