Just got off the phone with Crazy Crow Trading and the lady there said, their tacks as solid brass. Looks like I'll be making an order with them.

Yeah, the ice fiasco is gone now we're being pelted with high winds and lots of rain! Hopefully this will be an indication of a cooler summer without the fires.

Cleaning up the stragglers on the inside. Looks like a bomb went off in there. Used and X-acto knife for this work.



Cleaned up the lock area.



Got the trigger guard in place.



Pre-assembly to ensure all parts fit in their perspective places.

Disassembled and prepped for sanding.



2 coats of Laurel Mountain Forge Ebony Toner applied.



While the stock was drying, I got the barrel and under rib blued up.



Front sight on but, had to quit as the rear was giving me some difficulties. Was about ready to throw through the wall so, figured that was sign to hang it up for the night!
