Yep, he said posts not threads. Interesting idea, a "Nuke This Thread" button. Might be handy.

On most forums you have to edit your posts and threads individually. Most choose to say *mods please delete* or *deleted*. Something along those lines. I ran a forum for a few years and I had lots of people ask to be completely deleted. While we could technically delete their posts, we couldn't delete all of the times their posts were quoted. If it was an issue of personal information, we would delete it, but in general, once it's on the internet it's permanent.

If your worrying about them being held against you later, as many of us do, just know, you may not be able to see it any longer, but they can also find them. Nothing is ever really deleted on the interwebs

If I were in such a position I would just go thru them myself and delete each one.

Find them using 'My Posts'.

Just requested to the mods 400 some posts be deleted along with all the "likes" associated with my profile. We will see what happens.
