I think the moderators do a great job on this site. I have no issues what so ever and have sold a bunch of things since I have joined.
I am a moderator on a BMW forum and we allow "thats such a nice intake wish I could afford it" posts because of the amount of posts. It would be a full time job to clear up all the posts like that so it is allowed even though there are like 10 moderators for just the "For Sale" sections. It also depends on the amount of members on the forum. Sorry getting a little off track here.
I will say that Calguns.net does allow these types of posts but again a different gun site all together and I assume (theres that word again) that its about 5 times the size of this site with about 52,000 members VS 8,000 members here.
Bottom line really is follow the rules.
