I have seen cases for taking game with illegal means but I would defend a case like this for free if asked. No hunter could expect a deer to be that DUMB!!! Obviously, the statue was not installed to kill deer — or the base would have been anchored properly! The courtroom arguments would have been FUN had the game warden charged the man!! Could you see the conspiracy charges against the friends who bought the statue?
