Dang, that was fast. A couple things I'm questioning though...the article was about the 47's, not the 74's. And the pictured rifles had regular birdcage flash hiders. Mine is obviously threaded but also has a spring loaded detent that must be depressed in order to unlock the muzzle device.

Don't know if any of these things mean anything, just clarifying.

Ive only seen thread concentricity problems on Romanian , Egyptian and AK Builder barrels. Just run a 9mm silencer and you'll be fine.

I think AK's suppress just fine. Use a Lantac Dragon AK brake ( the one with the ASR threads. "Dragon" NOT the "Dracon". ) . They release them in small batches and dont really advertise them. You have to call. I use relatively tight form 1 cans with AK's and even the 223 AK's suppress extremely well.
