    Guys

I've only been reloading since November of last year, so I have no reference for dating (by price) a stack of primers my brother's friend gave to him. All CCI, priced 99 cents to $1.49 per tray, and purchased from Bi-Mart and Payless.

I was just curious if anybody had an idea.

    Thanks. primers.jpg

I remember buying primers back in 1978 for that price. Hope that helps.

Dating primers. Kind of hard up to get a date. Try e-harmony.com

I am currently using some white and green box CCIs that were given to me and marked $7.90 on the box (brick) and they are all going 'bang'.

If you have primers that old, clearly you aren't shooting enough:cool:

I recall primers costing about $0.97 per 100 back in the early 80's in the Seattle area. I kept a box with the price sticker on it for a long time but finally tossed it. Made me too sad when I compared it with today's prices.
