I didn't even know it was legal to sell a firearm to another person, I had always just gone to gun shows and sold mine to dealers. Anyways at the last gun show a guy next to me interrupted the deal I was making and told me I could get more online, he mentioned this and another site.
So, without further adu, the dealer was going to give me $700 for my Valkyrie, so I figure ill ask $750 and we can negotiate from there, go to Cabela's and do the trade.

I want to thank everyone who responded, truly amazing! I just got back earlier from Cabela's and the gentleman at the Gun Library said he could get me $950 for it without too much sweat. Gonna go that route, make the wife happy with a little more money!
