I bought this over a year ago and haven't loved it like I thought I would. My beater Colt 1991 gets more range time.
The pistol is a 2017 production Specialist. Condition is excellent with no scratches, though like your typical matte stainless finish there are rubs on the finish. It has been in a holster but never carried if that makes sense. By my log I have 100 rounds of Federal 230gr HST +P through it along with around 200 rounds of S&B ball... sad a pistol this awesome doesn't get shot much.
I sent it back to Dan Wesson to have the slide stop touched up as it was prematurely locking back from contacting the very wide HST bullet. No issues at all now. While at Dan Wesson I had them fit a single side thumb safety on my dime. The original ambi safety is included along with the paperwork from the install.
I installed a Fusion lanyard MSH and some lame Magpul grips, I never got around to ordering the VZ 320 grips I intended to. The new MSH and Magpul grips are included along with the originals VZ Operator Grips and Dan Wesson magwell MSH that is serialized to the pistol. The original DW Checkmate magazines are also included.
I am looking for $1200 plus $50 shipped to your FFL. I believe shipping may be than $50 but I'll eat the cost above that, your FFL must accept from a private party. I am in The Dalles, Oregon but would be willing to meet at a Portland area FFL to make the sale.
I would accept a cashiers check or personal check if you don't mind waiting for it to clear. I would also accept PP F&F but would prefer not to due to the dollar amount. Thank you!
