I need to cover some unexpected medical bills, so I'm liquidating some of my "non-core" collection. This post is for a very nice stainless steel Dan Wesson Specialist 1911 in .45 ACP. I picked this up last fall and it hasn't seen much time at all outside of the safe. It has probably 120 rounds through it. As many of you are no doubt aware, Dan Wesson makes one of the best 1911's out there, and probably THE best production 1911's you can find. I have a VBOB as well, which I absolutely love, but I'm not quite desperate enough to sell that one as well. These are excellent, tight fitted, well-made and accurate guns. My first 10 yd group with this one, right out of the box, was smaller than an inch.
Condition is like new - comes with factory box, three 8 rd mags, lock, paperwork - everything that came with it new. I'm asking$1,350.
I'm selling several other guns as well - all to help cover these unexpected bills. All of these are items I would very much prefer to keep if the situation were different. I'll eventually get around to posting each of these individually, but below are the other items I have for sale:
- Smith & Wesson 36 no dash round butt - $575 obo
- Smith & Wesson 629-1 3" bbl - $950
- USFA Rodeo .45 Colt 5.5" bbl - perfect - $1,200
- USFA 12/22 4.75" bbl - brand new, unfired $1,750
- Ruger 10/22 stainless, Mannlicher stock, new, unfired - $350
- Enfield 1917 mk3 .303 British - $275
- Yankee Hill AR-15 Diamond Specter complete upper with YHM BUIS - $750 (I'd also consider selling the complete rifle for $1050 with an LAR Grizzly lower and magpul furniture.
