Front ring markings are pretty sparse...serial number and what looks like a tiny circle within a circle above it. No crest. Manufacturer and model along the side of the receiver. Importers Mark at the end of the barrel.
 
Nothing of any note. I picked it up in a trade several years ago, and shot it for a while, then found that I prefer the small ring mausers in 6.5 and 7mm, as well as Mosins, enfields, etc... more, so it sat.
Due to the lack of a crest and the importer's stamp at the end of the barrel I'm pretty positive this was no one's grand dad's wartime bring back. Just a collectable shooter and an example of old world craftsmanship.
