From what I read......"If I remember correctly the 40P was a frankengun created using the P-01 frame and the 40B slide. The 40B was created along with the Colt Z40 as a joint project. When Colt pulled the plug CZ used what frames they had left, but had a surplus of slide assemblies, with a limited number built until slides were used up. From what I remember, the 40P was a quality product."
