So someone told me a .223 and .380 brass case are the same. Anyone ever try cutting a .223 down to spec? It would be one **** of a case with the rifle walls (thickness). Just curious...CS
I am not sure if .380 is the same, but I have cut .223 down and made .30mauser ammo for my Broomhandle and it worked great. Commercial .223 brass would be thinner than Military Brass
The wall thickness would be a problem, .355" + 2 wall thickness = a diameter that will not fit a 380acp chamber, inside case reaming would be required. If the case volume is different 380acp load data would not apply.
