Here is a nicely made Custom Mauser 98.
24" barrel, Chamber, throat and barrel are in great shape. I believe the barrel to be a Douglas.
Looks to be an older Fajen custom stock.
It has an aftermarket aluminum trigger Gaurd that has some slight finish wear. I would cerakote it graphite black if it were mine.
Looks to have an Interarms Mark X trigger style in it.
It has Weaver bases
I can supply some load data with this. It's very accurate.

you are guessing a Douglas barrel... is it a hunter profile or heavier varmint profile? hard to tell from the picture. thanks!

It has XX stamped on the underside of the barrel. And from years past that means it's a
Douglas XX barrel.
Muzzle diameter .640"
2.500" forward of the receiver is .875"
Barrel diameter at the receiver is 1.175"
