What kind of turnaround and I have a remington 700 5r mil spec .308 bull barrel that has been cryo'd it has the 24" barrel and I want to get it cut to 20" and then fitted and threaded for a surefire brake what do you think that will run me if I supply the brake?

Normal bbl chop&thread is $75 (including Rem 700s). We haven't threaded a cryo bbl before, so can't comment on that. Cryo, if done properly makes the bbl harder, so there may be small extra charge--have to see the bbl. 24"-20" is no problem. Expect about a week turn-around time.

I stopped in yesterday after not visiting the store for about 6 months. Wow! The store is completely rearranged, with lots more stuff, including reloading components like powder, primers, bullets, etc., that I haven't found anywhere else lately. I drove down expecting to just pick up another magazine for my 6.8 SPC but left with powder, bullets, the 6.8 mag and a couple 5.56 magazines as well. It's a long drive from Washougal but well worth the trip.

Recently went there and saw the expanded showroom area. Very good selection, especially compared to any other place I've been to, but that inventory costs a premium. The accessories I looked at, and ultimately bought (FF rail, BUIS set and a barrel nut) were at or above MSRP. I could have saved at least $40 bucks going online (even including shipping). I was close to going online, but chose to spend more money locally and have the stuff in hand. I suppose it's a cost I'm willing (so far) to pay to have a local shop that has stuff in stock, especially small stuff (roll pins, springs, detents, etc...).

BTW, I must say the customer service there is very good too.
