Anyone has done rabbit hunting in Crooked River National Grassland in Madras, OR?

Lots, in the past, but not lately. I don't know specifically what rabbits you are looking for but mostly just jacks in the area and they go through periods of highs and lows and the blacktail jack is now protected. Areas vary with concentrations of rabbits and you have to just beat the brush to find them. Hit the synopsis for the regs on rabbits and don't accidentally wander onto private land.
