I've been noticing an increase in the number of posts both here and on other gun related forums that are knee jerk reactions to outdated Senate bills or news articles/polls. I know we all care about our rights, and we want to do everything we can to protect those, but it would behoove everyone if we took a breath and used some critical thinking before posting. There are several reasons to do some quick research before posting "urgent" notices to everyone. Some of these reasons are: you can look uninformed if the Senate bill never existed; Lurkers may get the wrong idea of our forum; it isn't good for your health to get so worked up about something that doesn't actually exist. I know a majority of people on these forums are not fans the current administration, but just because you don't like someone doesn't mean that chain-letters about them are true. If a friend sends you something that sounds outrageous and get's your hackle up, you may want to do some independent research and see if it's true. Or maybe it's just me.
