Crimson Trace Laser on a Ruger 22/45

New guy here and I have a question. I saw one post that shows adding 1911 grips to the Ruger 22/45. My question is has anyone installed a CT 1911 laser on the 22/45. The standard Ruger M II & III will not work but I hope the 1911 will. Please let me know if you have installed one.

Not a 22/45 but on a mII CONTACT CT AND TALK TO THEM....

I did talk to them and I know the CT M II and III will not work, however since it was modeled after the 1911 again I was wondering if anyone has tried retrofiting a CT 1911 on the 22/45.
