Do you get fingerprinted again when renewing your CPL in Pierce or King County, WA?

This would be my third permit, but first time renewing it (I was late getting my second permit so it counted as a new permit rather than a renewal). As such, I am not sure if you get fingerprinted again when renewing and whether they give you your new permit then and there or still mail the renewal to you.

Also, I have two residences, one in both Counties. Is there an advantage to renewing in one or the other (shorter lines, better hours, etc.)

    Thanks in advance.

you shouldn't need to get re-finger printed on a renewal.

LESA used to be IN the courthouse, are they acrossed the street now? I've seen that link already but it doesn't answer any of the questions I asked. What does the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) have to do with CPL renewal?

I don't believe you have to get fingerprinted again.

You do not have to get printed again. I was in and out in about 20 minutes the last time.
