My hunting buddy and myself have been wondering when and where is the best time and place to hunt coyotes. Like to do it somewhere in the eastern OR area where it is not so wet, I know it will be colder.

Have you had any luck knocking on doors at ranches to see if they might have a problem with predators and like to have someone remove a few?

Any public land options that you have tried with some success?

Your thoughts?

There are endless spots east of Bend for this. You can hunt near ranches and don't even have to ask if on the borders. Most wouldn't care anyway. Now is a great time to hunt them as well.

The same spots where people hunt Deer on the east side offer lots of great options. It will be very cold at night and in the morning before 10am though.
