Where the FRIK in this thread did anybody say (or even imply) "all lefties are the same"? Just because I HEARD Ginny Burdick on OPB radio say what I quoted above doesn't mean I was picking on "lefties", just because she IS a lefty... just because Prozanskie is a lefty, just because Courtney is a lefty, just because Rosenbaum is a lefty, just because Beyer is a lefty.

Maybe the "lefty" electorate isn't "all the same", but the schmucks they keep electing to office sure seem to be!!

I wrote my state Senator today and he assured me a loud NO vote from him. I urge you all to take the opportunity and send a quick email to your state senator urging a no vote. It's very easy to do, make sure to put the bill's number in the subject line. Be straight forward and let them know how you feel. They are, after all, there to serve the people.

That was brought up to Ginny Burdick on OPB radio a few weeks back... her reply was, " if someone is intent on breaking the law, they will".... WTH does THAT have to do with anything?

It has to do with DISproving her own argument. Every time I've spoken with her and/or emailed her, I've brought that exact thing up. The acts she is trying to stop will not do anything. The shooter in Ohio broke numerous laws. From least to most: Brought a gun on school grounds - was a minor in possession of a gun - fired a gun inside city limits - and, oh yeah, MURDERED PEOPLE. Do you really think the shooter cared one iota about the fact that it was illegal in Ohio for anyone to carry a gun on school grounds?

Yeah, I am seriously considering running against her now. Anyone want to donate to my new (yet to be formed) campaign fund?

I just emailed my Senator. I don't have my CHL yet but I have my class on Sunday. Would be nice not to have to worry about my gun taking my kids to school.

Well, SOMEONE did those things. Wether it's the person accused now or not, we don't know for sure - so maybe "minor in possession" would go away if the accused isn't the responsible party, but certainly SOMEONE did the other acts.

This whole thing is ridiculous. The anti gun advocates (More so on the left side then right) seem to not understand statistics nor realize that those of us with a CHL get them so we can LEGALLY carry our firearms concealed to protect our families, friend, and general public if things get harry(Which is always unexpected). It's not like we get them so we can legally carry a gun to commit a crime. I guess I don't understand why they can't see between the lines its pretty black and white. Legal Citizen/Criminal!!! You can't tell who is going to turn into a criminal but at least give us a chance before condemning us all and striping our rights. Anyway I could rant all day as I imagine all of you could too.
