Give the Judge some understanding here, regardless of the ~Concept~ of "Blind Justice" this Judge, as all of us do, knows the person is guilty.

The Judges JOB, is (to) make it fail safe as possible, I know that redefines the typical definition, but it is still true to that concept: Blind Justice.
