Yes, the legislators are very important, but Harris/Walz actually can do a lot of damage without congress. Look how Biden has weaponized the DOJ, BATF, FBI, etc against conservatives, FFLs, parents concerned about debauchery being taught in schools, political opponents, people who bought parts kits and diesel filters, etc; all without the help of congress. The truth is that they all matter greatly. We need to remove all power from the party of gun control.
