Have you tried taking the handguards off and looking at the barrel for the maker stamps? Just a thought.

Knowing if the barrel twist is 1/7 or 1/9 would be handy also........

wow, that is interesting. How do you know that is a 1/9 twist? Is it stamped on the barrel?
