1911 - this gun is high-art for Browning's design! Slide bluing like you don't see anymore - stainless highlights. Upgraded aftermarket target sights (thank you Quirt Evans for noticing this), target adjustable wide trigger, tapered barrel and collet bushing, and a flat top (lots of shadow & lighting glares in my pics - sorry)!

I have Ed Brown cocobola thick grip panels on it and also have the original Colt grip panels plus a second set of period correct Colt for it. I do not have the Colt box for this 1980 built Gold Cup. It will come with the original Colt mag, MKIV / Series 70 Manual, and the extra grips.

*I will add some Winchester military grade ammo to bring a deal together, if needed.

$1,400.00 (OBO), or a trade plus cash for a high-end government model .45 (no stainless or nickel please) like Ed Brown, Nighthawk or Wilson.

*No shipping - Face to face transfer only either in Tigard, OR, and I can meet you to transfer in Camas or Vancouver.

*Copeland Gunworks recently went through this gun and it is perfect. Call them to ask about it*

Might be wrong, but I think that the sights were changed at some point.
The white outline rear sight appears to be a Millet, and AFAIK Colt fronts
on the Gold Cup were always a Patridge, not a ramped white,, the front
may be a "Duel-Crimp" Millet

Thank you...I'm not the original owner and assumed they were because of the other GC's I've seen pics of from around the 1980 timeframe that appear to be identical style sights. Some of the descriptions claimed those were even "NIB," so I assumed these originals.

Do you think the sights on this GC may have been Colt options, or simply aftermarket upgrades? :)
