Not sure what I have ? It's a really old Colt. Says SAA .38 Special on the barrel. Also has the SN in the proper location. I've been told that there were no Bisley's made in .38 but this definitely looks like a Bisley. I inherited it a couple years ago. I'll never sell it, but want to know what I have and approximate value.


I'd show more pics, but am having a lot of trouble with this site today.

here is another bisley 38spcl.

back in their hayday, colt would put together just about any combination of gun from their parts inventory. a 38 bisley is certainley possible and very rare. a matching number first gen 38spl bisley in shootable condition would bring $3000+ to a collector.
