Dan's are sleepers. There's a long story about a chance meeting with Dan in 1978 at the factory, but suffice it to say that they are very accurate.

Biggest mistake I ever made was selling my Dan Wesson M-15 .44 mag! Took me 20 years to find it's twin, but thankfully, I now have the exact same twin to the one I stupidly sold!

In revolvers I like the .357 Magnum and .45 Colt cartridges.
Both are versatile and can be had in loads from mild to wild.
Although....don't over look the .38 Special...its a excellent choice as well.

In regards to Smith & Wesson....Pre lock all the way for me...and I prefer models from the 1980's and earlier.
My Favorites being :
Model 28
Model 19
Model 25
Model 15
Model 10

For Rugers....the old model Blackhawk , preferred non-transfer bar conversion.
With that said...the new models are tough to beat...and I am tempted by them as well.
I also love the Security Six series.

The Colt Trooper series is excellent...and the "Snake" guns are outstanding....Just outta my wallet range.
The Colt SAA....ahhh.....my dream revolver.

Uberti / Cimmarron and their copies of the Colt SAA...are excellent....and easy to work on.

Colt collector checking in. All the snakes, Police Positives, New/Official Police, DS, oh yeah. But I like old S&Ws, too, with the 10, 13, 15, 19, 66 my favorites.
