I know Ruger single 6 convertible requires a factory matched set of cylinders. What about the Colt.
    Thanks

I have a Colt Frontier Scout, but a early edition before the 'convertibles', I don't think I can use the .22 Magnum cylinder nor would my 22 LR cylinder work in a 'Convertible' I could be wrong as my information was word of mouth about 55 years ago.

They have to be time to the revolver they're going to be used in. I don't know that you could take one from another pistol and have it timed to the one you want to use it in. My Colt Buntline came with both, so I hold myself as lucky.
