Officer's model, 2nd issue (1925). It appears this revolver, originally in .38, was returned to Colt and modified to a heavy barrel, with a new cylinder. I have a Colt letter stating the original configuration. It does not mention the modifications, but a stamp by the serial # shows it was returned to the Colt factory for work, and the assumption is the work was the above modification.
