got this gun in trade on NWF with a missing slide stop lever spring, which was causing this gun to back out the slide stop lever when racking the slide- this did not bother me and I took it home anyway as a project gun not even mentioning it until later to the other party.
I have remedied this problem now with a Sig Sauer 1911 380 slide stop spring and also slide stop. These parts cost me about $45 or so and took some research and hunting down to find and was a Swiss watchmaker- like PITA to fit.
Good news is: This gun now functions like a champ and became my pocket carry for a bit. Selling It only to lighten up for a big move and life change.
Hope someone will enjoy it. It shoots good And is not your average "throw away" 380 at all. It is special to those that have not had them. It was my first mustang and won't be my last.
